Rancho Cucamonga, CA (July 23, 2010) – The Frontier Project Foundation is looking for qualifiednominees for its Environmental Steward Awards, to be presented at the 2nd Annual Green Tie Galaon Saturday, October 16, 2010. Each Honoree will receive a plaque and admirable recognition throughout the year.
“These Awards were established in 2009 to recognize and honor those who exhibit extraordinary environmental leadership,” stated James V. Curatalo, Jr., Chair of the FP Board Development Committee that is organizing the Green Tie Gala. Those we select truly embody our mission, which is to demonstrate that sustainable design can be economic, efficient, and inviting.”
Honorees will be recognized in the following five categories:
Individual- Recognizes an excellent leader who inspires others to improve the health or quality of the environment.
Corporate- Recognizes a corporation who is committed to the advancement of green building practices.
Educator- Presented to an educator who promotes environmental awareness and utilizes the environment as a context for learning.
Green Team- Recognizes a group that works collaboratively to raise environmental awareness within the community.
Founders Award- Presented to individuals or organizations that actively work with the Frontier Project Foundation and encourage sustainable living through education and community involvement.
Nominees must have an office in California or have conducted a significant amount of business in the region. Potential candidates may nominate themselves or be nominated by a third party. Nominees cannot be submitted for multiple categories. Nomination applications can be downloaded at www.frontierproject.org.
Nominations must be received or postmarked by August 9, 2010.
