Frontier Project Collaborates With
The Green Hive

Foundation's Physical Site Helps Community Learn about Environmental Products and Services


HERMOSA BEACH, CA (June 28, 2009) - The Green Hive http://www.TheGreenHive.com, an integrated library, event center and marketplace designed to embrace, educate and promote sustainable design and building practices, announced it has entered into a licensing agreement and will lend its expertise to local California foundation, The Frontier Project. Located in Rancho Cucamonga, the Frontier Project http://www.frontierproject.org is open to the public to educate about environmentally sustainable products, systems, technologies, and building design.

"The Frontier Project was constructed to be a community resource for all visitors, and collaborating with Green Hive will enhance that offering," commented Frontier Project Foundation Chairman, Randall James Reed. "The Green Hive's library and availability of industry experts on our site fits into our overall strategy to bring the most up-to-date resources for environmental products and services to the Inland Empire."

The Frontier Project Foundation, a non-profit organization established by the Cucamonga Valley Water District in 2005, constructed the Frontier Project: a one-acre site that includes a 14,000 square foot sustainable resource center, demonstration gardens, and an onsite water retention system. The mission of the Frontier Project is to demonstrate that sustainable design is economic, efficient, and inviting. The Frontier Project is open Mon-Fri, 9a.m.-3p.m., and located at 10435 Ashford Street, Rancho Cucamonga.
